Fine Italian Foods Inc. is an Atlanta-based company importing and distributing Italian food products (dry and fresh) since 1998. The Company also has the most comprehensive cheese importing license within the South East region of the United States on America.
This hard-to-obtain FDA issued cheese license allows the Company to strength its market position in this segment. Fine Italian Food warehouse is equipped with large refrigerated containers and its logistic process is well tested. For example:the Company’s “signature” Buffalo’s Mozzarella, is produced in Italy on Saturday and it can arrive at any US destination by the following Friday.
Italian-born Mara De Ascanis, founder and Manager of the company, started this venture in Atlanta and she partnered with a well-established Italian company, which provides abroad on-site assistance for quality control and logistic processes.
I selected Atlanta because is strategically located within the US, and because it has daily flights to/from Italy via Delta Airlines. I go visiting my Italian partners at least twice a year, to discuss and brainstorm about products and trends. I am the catalyst to strength the relationships between my client and my vendors, between the products I bring in the States and the enrichment my clients bring to their customers. We are all part of the same wave: a multicultural tasteful journey that starts from mother-earth, and artistically ends on our dinner plates! says Mara.
